BIOGRAPHY

El Phantasmo started his career in Canada before growing in notoriety in the UK. Phantasmo engaged in a friendly rivalry with Will Ospreay in Britain, which led many to assume that he would eventually make his Japanese debut as part of CHAOS. However, it was Bullet Club that recruited the ‘Headbanga’, and Phantasmo made his debut at Dontaku 2019, instantly making a statement by laying out Ospreay with the CRII.

Phantasmo went on to make a name for himself in the Best of the Super Juniors as a self confident antagonistic figure, but one who could effortlessly back himself up. Coming close to winning his block in BOSJ, ELP fell short, but formed a strong partnership with Taiji Ishimori that led to the two claiming IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship gold, barely six weeks removed from his NJPW debut.
