BIOGRAPHY

Jon Moxley has made a huge impact upon the wrestling industry, adept in many styles, but earned his reputation as a wild brawler, reminiscent of many hardcore legends. And although not acknowledged as such, he is a true dark horse in the industry both on camera and behind the scenes. Whose microphone skills are reminiscent and rival that of a young Roddy Piper and in-ring ability has captured a worldwide fanbase.

Moxley made his debut opposite Juice Robinson on June 5 2019, and instantly defeated Robinson to claim the IWGP United States Champion. From there he brought his breed of violence to the G1 Climax. Starting the competition with 5 consecutive wins, he seemed destined to be in the final, but a humiliating loss to Toru Yano lead to him losing his remaining 4 matches including a rematch with Robinson, which saw him knocked out of the competition.

Moxley would offer Robinson a rematch for the United States championship, under the condition that it be a no disqualification match. The date was set for October 14 at King of Pro Wrestling, but when a devastating typhoon struck Japan before the event, Moxley could not make his scheduled appearance and was therefore stripped of his championship. Losing his title without losing a match, Moxley is sure to be furious and willing to fight anyone as and when he makes his return.
